Eddie Dalton does not exist.

No studio. No guitar lessons. No sleepless nights over lyrics. All AI. Dallas Little from South Carolina invented him, generated the music, uploaded it, done.

Apple did not react. No label on the platform. The charts keep running. The algorithm keeps recommending. Real money keeps flowing.

Frank's position

I say this as someone who uses AI daily and is not trying to argue it away. I have become much more efficient. Tedious tasks? Handled by AI. My output? Multiplied. AI is not my enemy. But this development genuinely worries me.

Not because AI can make music. But because people heard the music, liked it, got real value from it, and had no idea what they were consuming.

"We already distrust real content because we have seen so much fake. That is the real damage."

We already question every second image — whether it is real. That is the actual damage: not that AI creates, but that human creativity becomes unbelievable as a result.

Labelling is not a nice-to-have. It is the basic prerequisite for trust to function at all.

Whether platforms like Apple implement this voluntarily or are forced to, I do not know. But letting it continue like this? That does not end well. Not for artists. And not for us as an audience in the long run.
