I say this as someone who built his courses primarily around ChatGPT for years. Not because ChatGPT was the best tool. But because it was what my course participants knew, wanted, and expected. When someone books an AI course for the first time, they come with a mental image. So I showed them ChatGPT.
In every course I mentioned that I personally work mainly with Claude because it delivers better results for me. I just never actually showed it. That changes now.
The numbers waking up the market
This week Ramp published its March 2026 AI Index. The numbers are clear:
Claude is not cheaper. Anthropic is currently dealing with capacity issues because demand is outpacing computing power. A company that costs more, actively throttles customers, and still grows faster — that says something.
What has actually changed
Claude was always stronger at writing and complex reasoning. That was why I have been using it as my 80% first choice for nearly two years. But what Anthropic is building right now is a different category altogether.
With the new Skills and Co-Work features, something is happening that I have not seen on any other platform: regular people — not developers, not technical specialists — can build their own workflows directly inside Claude. Claude learns how you work and becomes more useful over time. Not as a generic tool, but as something that feels like an assistant you trained yourself.

What this means for my courses
In my courses I will no longer just mention Claude. I am introducing dedicated Claude sessions: topic-specific, course-specific, with real workflows from my daily work. There will also be an extended Power Session where I show exactly how I use Claude — not abstractly, but applied to the tasks that matter for each course.
Because the market is thinking more carefully right now. My courses should too.
